Shack Bay

Descend a winding staircase to find your very own secluded sanctuary on the Bass Coast.

Shack Bay was originally named after the fishermen’s shacks that once occupied the rear of the small beach and is among a series of coves and bays nestled in the deep cliffs along the Bunurong Coast.

The beach is a sheltered bay, frequently used for fishing off the rocks. Although the waves are suitable for surfing, be cautious of the rocks.

The 150-meter long beach is situated in a 200-meter-wide gully and is bordered by nearly continuous rock flats.

Fishing

A popular spot for anyone looking for a relatively protected bay to fish off the rocks.
